These terms cover your use of bladeinstruments.com and your purchase of Blade Instruments products. Use of the software itself is governed by the end user license agreement that ships with the product.

The site

You may use bladeinstruments.com to read about our products, download trials, and make purchases. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it for redistribution, or use it to send unlawful or harmful content.

The site, its copy, and its assets are owned by Blade Instruments and are not licensed for reuse without written permission, except where fair use or equivalent rights apply.

Purchases

When you buy a Blade Instruments product, payment is processed by our merchant of record. The merchant of record is the seller of record for tax and consumer-protection purposes. Your purchase is also subject to the merchant of record’s terms.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are added at checkout by the merchant of record.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, email hello@austinblade.com from the address you used for the purchase, and include the order ID. Refunds are processed by the merchant of record back to the original payment method.

If your local consumer-protection law gives you a longer or stronger right to a refund, that law applies.

Trial software

The software may include a time-limited free trial. After the trial expires, continued use requires a valid paid license. The trial is offered on the same “as is” basis as the paid product.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and the software are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the site or a product purchase is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Madison County, Alabama. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws override this section, those laws apply to the extent required.
